If your Ring motion alerts won’t turn off, it could be due to specific motion settings or modes enabled in the Ring app. Start by checking the “Motion Settings” to make sure alerts are disabled. Additionally, ensure you are not in “Home” or “Away” mode, as these modes might automatically enable motion alerts for security purposes. If the issue persists, try restarting the Ring app or rebooting the device to refresh the settings.

To turn off Ring warnings, open the Ring app and go to the settings for your specific device. From there, select “Motion Warning” and toggle the setting off. This will disable the audible announcement of motion detection for that device. Remember, turning off the warning will not affect motion detection or alerts—those settings must be adjusted separately.

To stop motion detection on your Ring device, follow these steps:
Open the Ring app and select the device you want to adjust.
Navigate to the “Motion Settings” and toggle off the “Motion Detection” feature.
Disabling motion detection will stop your device from recording motion events and sending alerts. You can also use “Modes” to disable motion detection in certain scenarios, like when you’re home.
